We are excited to announce a new member of our sponsorship team as Kayak Mike brings his unique brand to Florence Speedway!
Kayak Mike is a National Catfishing Tournament director and YouTuber with a focus on chasing Catfish from the Kayak. You can find him on his YouTube channel which is also named Kayak Mike, Instagram at Kayak_Mike_5418, or TikTok KayakMike5418. He’s local to Cincinnati but travels the country from the Mississippi River in New Orleans up to Sandusky Bay near Lake Erie. He hosts a variety of events for bank, kayak, and boat fisherman through his club that you can find on Facebook, Online Catfishing Tournaments. He also works with Kayak Dealer and Camp Ground Raccoon Creek Outfitters located in Albany Ohio to help get people into the sport of Kayak Fishing.
He grew up going to races with his Father back in his home state of Pennsylvania and became addicted then, and carried his love for dirt track racing with him to Cincinnati Ohio. He frequently visits the local tracks and sponsors a UMP Modified Car, Darrell Dockery #44, and is excited to also sponsor Florence Speedway.
In addition to being a season long sponsor, Mike has also agreed to sponsor our July 26th race event. Our Dollar Days presented by Kayak Mike on Youtube will not only bring great values on concession items to fans, but high speed action as the Ohio Thunder Racesaver Sprints, the Compact Classic, Modifieds and Crown Vics battle it out on the track.
