The Late Models return to Florence Speedway this Saturday, April 30th, battling for a $3,000 top prize.
In addition to the ground pounding action of the Late Models, the Modifieds ($1,000-to-win), G&G Express Sport Mods ($500-to-win), and Hornets ($300-to-win) will also be on the racing card. Each division will compete in a full program of Heats, B-Mains, and a Feature.
A bonus will be award to the Top-3 finishers of the Late Model feature who are utilizing a steel block engine. The Top-3 Steel Block Late Models in Saturday nightโs Late Model feature will receive $250, $150, and $100 respectively. Steel Block Late Models must declare at time of pill draw to be eligible for bonus money.
The Pit Gates will open at 4:00pm, followed by Main and Back Gates opening at 5:30pm. Hot Laps are set to begin at 6:00pm with racing action kicking off at 7:00pm.
Ticket prices in the General Admission area will be $18 for adults (18+) while ages 13-17 will be $10. Children ages 12 and under are admitted for free to the General Admission area. A pit pass is $37.
For drivers competing at Florence Speedway for the first time this season, you will be REQUIRED to register for events through MyRacePass. Drivers are encouraged to create a MyRacePass account and register in advance prior to arriving at the track. This will expedite the at-track registration process on race day. Please note it is only necessary to register once per season. If you have previously registered for an event at Florence Speedway in 2022, it is not necessary to complete the registration form each week.
