SUPER DIRT STOCK RULES

Mufflers are mandatory and must be of closed end type. No open exhaust baffle pipes allowed. 100 decibel maximum. Any car losing mufflers will forfeit points and prize monies for that night.

1.   Wheel base 104" minimum.

2.   Roll cage, 4-post cage. Note: door bars must be at least 1 ½" tubing, 3 bar minimum in drivers door, 2 bar minimum in passenger door, all roll cage joints must have gussets welded in, including door bars. All factory front subs must extend back to at least rear motor plate area. Square or round tubing frames must be extended from that point on.

3.  All cars must have fuel cells, 32 gal. Maximum in a completely enclosed steel container. No aluminum allowed. 2 straps minimum around fuel cell. At least 2" wide by 1/8" thick.

4.  1 - 2 or 4 barrel carburetors with maximum 1" adapter. No electric fuel pumps or belt driven pump. Stock type only.

5.  Gasoline or alcohol permitted. No nitrous oxide.

6.   Engine must comply to manufacturer's design, Ford to Ford, GM to GM, etc.. Design of car to be determined by nosepiece design. Center of #1 plug must be no more than 4" from center of ball joint. No aluminum heads.

7.  Roller cams are legal.

8.  There will be a $500.00 Claimer rule in effect on the engine. (Long block only) Any engine claimed will be removed at the track that same night. Person claiming engine must be a Super Dirt Stock driver, running on the same lap & in the top 10 of the point standings. If a person claims an engine, he/she has 15 minutes to make the claim & have cash on hand. Refusal to sell engine automatically disqualifies the driver & car for the rest of the racing season. No exceptions ! Management reserves the right to claim any engine from any Super Dirt Stock for $300.00.

9.   Bert type transmissions will be allowed. Manual or automatic transmission will be allowed. No in & out boxes. No button or couplers. Must have 1 forward & 1 reverse gear. Must be able to move either way from a stopped position.

10.   Stock ignition, no duel point or magneto distributor. M.S.D. box allowed

11.   Headers must turn under car. Mufflers are mandatory and must be of closed end type. No open exhaust baffle pipes allowed.  100 decibel maximum. Any car losing mufflers will forfeit points and prize monies for that night.

12.   Both right side wheels must be plated to keep wheels from coming off. Right side hubs must have over sized lug studs, front & rear. DRIVE SHAFT LOOPS ARE MANDATORY. Cars found without these loops are subject to disqualification.

13. Tires:

A. The following tires compounds are the only tire compounds legal:

D.O.T. tires no larger than P255 - G60-15.

Hoosier 26.5/8.0-15 - RC2 (A40), RC6 (H40)
            27.5/8.0-15 - RC2 (A40), RC6 (H40)
            Note: RC4 (D40) are no longer legal

B.   No grooving of tires allowed. Siping is allowed.

C.   No tire softeners or conditioners.

D.   Hoops for inspection must pass over tire freely.

E.   Eight (8) inch steel wheels only. One (1) inch tolerance for beadlocks.

F.   Bead locking devices allowed on the right-side (Right Front & Right Rear) wheels only.

G.   Any mud plug other than foam must be securely mounted to the wheel.

H.   Aluminum wheel spacers are allowed.

I.   Safety hubs may be used.

14.  One shock & one spring per wheel. No traction or helper device of any kind permitted. U bolts must be tightly clamped directly to rear end housing and they must remain tight. No sleeves, clamp brackets, or bird cages will be permitted.

15.  Leaf spring cannot be made of fiberglass or any composite-type material; STEEL ONLY.

16.  Jack screws will be allowed & tie rod end type racing shocks permitted.

17.  Must have stock lower A frame. Tube type upper A frame permitted. O.E.M. spindles & steering box. O.E.M. rotors & calipers.

18.  Super Dirt Stocks  must weigh 2800 lb. minimum with driver after race. Weights must be secured & mounted in metal containers & welded in securely.

19.   Body design including deck heights to comply with Late Model body rules. See Late Model drawing for details.

20.  No sharp or protruding metal allowed.

21.  Spoilers no higher than 8" total material with 3 trunk braces. 4" maximum side skirting. See Late Model drawing.

22.  Hans devices HIGHLY RECOMMENDED but not required.

23.  A kill switch is required & must be mounted within easy reach of driver.

24.  No exception, any car found with illegal parts will forfeit that night's points & position money.
